THE APARTMENT
This charming duplex in Paris is designed for lovers of history and vintage. It is reached after passing the majestic porte-cochère of a building classified as a Historical Heritage.
 
One enters this charming duplex in Paris by the lower floor. To the left on entering, you will find a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, and to the right the main living space. In the extension of the sleeping room you will find a closet room, following one room with two single beds.
 
The living space is at the same time functional and elegant. The exposed beams and dark wood paneling around the window give it a matchless charm. The kitchen, found under the mezzanine of this charming duplex in Paris, overlooks a table bar for serving or a meal on the go, but also a superb table in the dining area that allows you to enjoy meals at ease, all under the beautiful brightness of the window facing south.
 
One crosses the wood-paneled door to reach the closet room, and, in the prolongation of it, a comfortable and cozy room with two single beds.
 
To the left of the entrance you will find the parental suite, decorated with refinement and discretion, all in Empire style decoration and with a straight-lined wallpaper and pastel colors. This room, which also has exposed beams, has its adjoining shower room whose green tones of water recall those of the bedroom.
 
On the upper level of the duplex there is a relaxing and reading space with a comfortable sofa bed, as well as a bathroom.
 
THE BEDDING AND BATHROOMS

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
The Rue Paul Lelong begins on rue Montmartre and ends at rue de la Banque. It owes its name to the architect Paul Lelong, responsible for the opening of the rue de la Bank. After his decease, it’s Victor Baltard, famous for being the architect of les Halles of Paris, who will resume his unfinished works.
 
The apartment is located not far from Palais Brongniart, which until 1987 was the Paris Bourse. In the opposite direction, still a few minutes walk away; the Palais royal is found, wanted by Richelieu and which sheltered Louis XIV during the Fronde. In front of the Palais, we find in the court of honor the famous columns of Buren - the real title of this masterpiece is Les Deux Plateaux. Finally, the delightful gardens of the Palais Royal offer a haven of greenery for relaxing and walking.
 
This charming duplex in Paris is in the heart of a historic quarter, often forgotten by tourists, which has preserved its charm and its well-kept addresses.
 
For a first stop, the restaurant Un jour à Peyrassol offers, in an intimate atmosphere, a refined cuisine inspired by its native Provence. One may delight by having truffles and also the possibility to be able to buy wines that come from the Domain of Peyrassol.
 
The other favorite place is the restaurant Le nom m'échappe, for fish, seafood and popular poultry dishes, all found in a chic bistro setting.
 
Lebanese cuisine lovers will appreciate the installation of the Lebanese caterer Liza found at; 14 rue de la Banque. Their corner bakery takes us to the discovery of the famous Man'ouchés just out of the oven, prepared at the minute with a unique savoir-faire.
 
Last but not least, the lovers of traditional bread and pastry have their address at 53 rue de Montmartre with the boulangerie of Régis Colin: his perfectionism has been rewarded with prestigious prizes, which constantly seeks the best raw materials for tasteful of breads and pastries.

Elegant architecture and streets in this “top end’ of the 2nd district”, it is an easy walk to many of Paris’s main sights and home to The Palais Royal gardens this area is a great place to sample a typical Parisian atmosphere, little passageways and arcades full of shops and small cafés abound. It is situated on the right bank of the Seine a few streets from the Montorgeuil area and its lively fresh food markets and atmosphere and in walking distance of the famous river.

We are always happy to accommodate guests arrival and departure details if it is possible. Should the apartment not be ready for an earlier check-in, we will schedule a later meeting time and allow you to store your luggage at the office in central Paris.
 
Please note: City Tourism Tax applies: 2 euro per night per person. This charge will be collected upon check in.
 
Please note: any check in on a Sunday, a public holiday or between 8pm and 11pm will incur a 50 euro fee payable on arrival. No check in between 11pm and 9.30am is possible.
 
Please note:  the 24th and the 31st of December check in will be arranged before 5pm, no later check in will be possible on these 2 dates.
 
Security deposit: On arrival a pre-authorisation will be required by credit card (Visa, Mastercard), in order to cover the eventual physical damage. This pre-authorisation is cancelled at the end of the stay.
 
Cancellation : 
a. In case of cancellation before check in date, if the cancellation is received:
- More than 180 days of the arrival date:  fixed penalty accordingly to the curency of the booking: (AUD$450 ; USD$350; EUR300)
- Between 179 and 65 days of the arrival date: 25% of the total rental cost is due.
- Between 64 days and 20 days of the arrival date: 50% of the total rental cost is due.
- Between the arrival date and last 19 days of the arrival date: 100% of the total rental cost is due.
b. In case of interruption of your stay if the responsibility of the owner is not engaged, there will be no refund.
